Concrete Pipe, Inc. began producing dry cast pipe in 1996 and stands for quality products and exceptional customer service, which Hanson manager Bill Heflin will continue to build upon. Hanson Pipe & Precast will offer an expanded line of products, including larger diameter reinforced concrete pipe.

Christensen indicated that the facility will be part of Hanson’s Northeast operating region based in Columbus, Ohio and will be managed through Don Wagner, vice president of the southern Virginia. The Northeast region’s 26 plants produce several products, including those used for community and roadway development, such as reinforced concrete pipe, drainage structures, noise barriers, bridge products, the HansonArch^®, QuikSpan^® and precast vaults.
