This state-of-the art facility located at 12600 W. Northern Ave is completely automated. It is currently fully operational and producing circular and elliptical reinforced concrete pipe ranging in diameters from 12 inches to 72 inches, as well as box culverts with diameters greater than 72 inches. The facility will replace two smaller facilities built in 1965 and 1980 located at 27th Avenue and Indian School Road and 39th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road, respectively. Several employees have transferred to the new facility from the existing locations.

El Mirage is part of Hanson’s Western region based in Portland, Ore. The region services Arizona, California, Oregon, Utah and Washington out of 12 facilities that produce several products, including those used for community and roadway development such as reinforced concrete pipe, drainage structures, bridge systems and precast vaults
